The X-101 has become more advanced: The Defence Intelligence on the modernization of Russian missiles 

The aggressor, Russia, has upgraded the air-launched cruise missiles of the X-101 type, which are used by the enemy to attack Ukraine. The current air targets differ from those in 2022.  

This was reported by the Deputy Chief of Ukrainian Military Intelligence, Vadym Skibitskyi. 

According to him, the Russians are learning quite quickly, and Ukraine will not shift to a “deaf defense.” 

"This missile already has an active electronic warfare system, active defense, thermal traps, and so on," - the intelligence officer said. 

The intelligence representative emphasizes that Ukraine needs to develop air defense and protect the military-industrial complex. 

“So that it produces, we need to implement, in particular, counteroffensive measures to prevent the loss of territories. The experience of 2023 has shown us this,” – Skibitskyi emphasizes.
