"They Need More than 10 Tanks": Former NATO Commander Criticized Western Weapon Aid for Ukraine

In his commentary for CNN, NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe Wesley Clark has called on the United States and Ukraine's Western partners to be more serious about provision of military assistance to Kyiv to counter Russian aggression.

He said this in a commentary to CNN.

Clark called on Ukraine's partners to increase military assistance and send more tanks and artillery amid news of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's intentions to announce another wave of mobilization.

Commenting on Britain's decision to provide Ukraine with heavy weapons, the former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe said that the news of 10 combat vehicles is encouraging, but 300-500 tanks are needed to counter Russian aggression.

" It’s great we are giving them 10 tanks from Britain. Ten tanks? Ukraine needs 300, 500 tanks. It’s great we are trying to send them a few more Howitzers. It’s not enough. We have got to get serious about this", Clark said.
