The Russians hit Red Cross humanitarian aid warehouse.
The aftermath of enemy shelling of Kherson
The Russian occupiers have intensified strikes on Kherson and the region. The invaders shell the city with ballistic missiles to destroy civilian infrastructure.
This was stated by the Commander of the Ukrainian Red Cross Rapid Response Unit, Mykola Taranenko, in an interview with Hromadske Radio.
The Russians have increased the intensity of shelling, so now the city and its suburbs experience between 30 to 50 strikes daily.
“Unfortunately, the occupiers have started using ballistic missiles, and it is very difficult to hide from them. There are shelling, destruction, and, unfortunately, victims," the Red Cross representative said.
Additionally, he described disappointing situation within the city.
"The Russian forces have already destroyed the third base. They are hitting humanitarian centers. They hit warehouses of other organizations twice, but recently they targeted our humanitarian aid warehouse, the Red Cross warehouse...
"They struck with “Shaheds”, they struck precisely. For example, three “Shaheds” hit our warehouse, and everything burned," Mykola Taranenko emphasized.
