This was revealed by retired Army General and former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Mykola Malomuzh, in an interview with “24 Channel.'

According to him, our military is destroying a huge amount of the heavy equipment of the occupiers and the manpower of the enemy. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conduct offensive operations, perform maneuvers, advance, in particular near Robotine in the direction of Melitopol.

"Positional warfare doesn't mean that we have stopped and are only on the defensive. Military maneuvers continue. We are drawing the enemy into prepared positions, especially where they attempt to conduct strategic operations and concentrate their equipment and weaponry. And we strike at those points," Mykola Malomuzh emphasized.

He also added that Zaluzhnyi stated that the war in Ukraine could become positional because there are currently no strategic breakthrough operations. Instead, Russia has been able to accumulate weapons, mobilize reserves, and launch attacks near Kupiansk, Avdiivka, and Bakhmut. The occupiers are attempting to strengthen their positions in the south.
