Two People Blasted on Mariupol Beach Allegedly “Cleared of Landmine Contamination” by the Invaders
Two people, including an 8-year-old boy, blasted on a landmine planted at Mariupol beach.
The incident happed after the invasion authorities claimed they had cleared the beach of the landmine contamination and allowed access to the costline for civilians, as Petro Andriushchenko, the Adviser to the legitimate Ukrainian Mayor of Mariupol, reported.
“Our sources in the invasion authorities confirmed that on Friday, June 3rd, two people were killed in the landmine explosion at “Pischanyi” beach. One of the casualties was only 8 years old”, the Adviser reported.
According to Andriushenko, the explosion happened at the local municipal beach right next to the Mariupol Port, which the Russian ordinance technicians had recently “cleared of the landmine contamination” in front of the TV cameras using “advanced mine detection robotic systems”. The invasion authorities then claimed that the beach is safe for visiting and allowed access to the costline for local civilians.
“The outcome is two dead residents of Mariupol. The blood of two more people now stains the hands of Ivashchenko (the leader of Mariupol invasion administration). Two more deaths weigh on the conscience of Russian troops. Two more victims were killed in this war even without a single round fired”, Andriushchenko emphasized.
Despite the landmine accident, the invasion authorities and Russian propagandist mass media continue to encourage the local residents to go to the coastline.
“Seems like pretty photos and videos are far more important to them than human lives”, the Adviser emphasized.
