On the night of Friday, April 28, the Russian invaders carried out another massive attack on the territory of Ukraine. TSN.ua collected all the details of the night terror of the Russian army in one material.
Around 03:00 in the morning, an air alert began to spread across Ukraine. Within an hour, the first explosions were heard by residents of the Poltava region.
At 04:20, the alarm spread to all regions of the state. Ukrainians were warned about the threat of missile strikes. Later, it became known about explosions in Mykolaiv, Uman, Dnipro and Kyiv.
Shelling of Kyiv and the region
The Russians attacked Kyiv region and the capital from strategic aviation planes. According to preliminary data, 11 cruise missiles were destroyed in the airspace of Kyiv. Two UAVs were also shot down, their type is currently being established.
Previously, due to falling debris in the Obolon district, a local power line was cut off and the road surface was damaged. Civilian casualties and destruction of residential facilities or infrastructure have not yet been recorded.
Missile attack on the Dnipro
Air defense forces managed to shoot down seven Russian cruise missiles, but a private house was destroyed. A 2-year-old girl and a 31-year-old woman died. In addition, three people were injured: a 58-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman were hospitalized in moderate condition, a 31-year-old man will be treated on an outpatient basis.
The building of a private enterprise was also destroyed in Dnipro. A fire broke out at the scene of the attack. It was managed to be eliminated in the morning. There was a fire at the construction site. The flames covered 400 square meters. It was managed to be located.
A missile hit a high-rise building in Uman
The Russians hit a residential building in Uman, Cherkasy region. At least three people died. There are also injured.
"A rescue operation is underway in Uman. According to information at the moment (07:17 — Ed.), Russian rockets killed three people. Another eight were injured," said the post of the head of the OVA Igor Taburets.
Also, the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko reported that two Russian rockets damaged three high-rise buildings.
