Ukrainian Town of Rubizhne Is Under Constant Enemy Fire – Another Evacuation Attempt Failed

The regular Russian attacks have put the town of Rubizhne on the verge on humanitarian disaster, according to Serhii Haidai, the Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

"Around a week ago, last time when our evacuation vehicles managed to reach Rubizhne and rescue civilians, we delivered several tons of food to the town. Later we also dispatched there an additional shipment of food. However, this part of the town is under constant fire of Russian artillery. Currently, it’s barely passible to drive there safely. Staying at the humanitarian office building even for few minutes is too dangerous, not to mention its normal operation, evacuation of civilians and distribution of humanitarian aid”, Haidai emphasized.

The Head of Regional Administration also added that the situation with humanitarian aid delivery to other communities in Luhansk Region was difficult, but controlled. According to Haidai, even in the remote areas, the humanitarian offices had sufficient supplies of essential goods.
