Ukraine needs at least 180 military aircraft and missile and bomb equipment for a new effective counteroffensive.
This was said by a military analyst, Colonel Petro Chernyk, on the air of the joint telethon.
"In my understanding, a sophisticated strategy is the combination of four classes of weapons in large quantities... It's a sufficient number of aircraft. 61 machines are very good, but we need at least three aviation regiments... 180 (aircraft) is absolutely necessary. A sufficient amount of missile and bomb payload for them, not just a few, not per unit, but thousands of tons," the military analyst emphasized.
In addition, a large number of long-range missiles is needed - at least 700 warheads of the ATACMS class.
"We also need a large number of means of radio-electronic warfare, especially of the trench type. And of course, drones, drones and drones again. And these four aspects still need to be multiplied by a large number of classic ammunition.
If a sufficient amount of all these things were available, then indeed, within just a few months, the course of the war could be accelerated, and we could at least reach the northern Azov Sea region," Petro Chernyk said.
