Kremlin dictator Volodymyr Putin is destroying Donbas. He wants this territory to be perceived by Ukrainians as a scorched earth for many years.
Serhiy Kryvonos, Major General of the Reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this on “Espresso.”
"Putin doesn't want a gray zone, but a dead one. According to the logic of the Russians, as Kryvonos explains, they have a desire to destroy everything they can, leaving not even a gray zone but a dead one. Putin needs Donbas to be perceived by Ukrainians as scorched earth for many years, sown with a vast number of human bones. Most likely, this is the plan of the deranged leader of the Russian Federation.
"It's such an information-psychological impact with an eye on future generations of Ukrainians," the General said.
However, the cynicism, indifference and cruelty of the enemy is no longer surprising. As Kryvonos emphasizes, the Russian Federation is trying to turn the war into a classic genocide - the destruction of Ukrainians as a nation.
