Ukraine's invitation to NATO and future membership would be real steps toward peace, the President believes.
The first point of the Victory Plan addresses Ukraine's accession to NATO.
This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the "Ukraine – Southeast Europe" summit in Croatia.
"Does Ukraine have a place in NATO? If so, and if this is properly confirmed, Putin will lose geopolitically. Ukraine's invitation to NATO and future membership would be real steps toward peace... Without geopolitical certainty, peace is impossible," the President said.
Zelenskyy says that in October, November and December, we have a real chance to shift the situation toward peace and long-term stability.
"The situation on the battlefield creates the opportunity to make this choice - a choice in favor of decisive actions to end the war no later than 2025," he concluded.
