The Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin is focused on continuing the war. As a result, Russian state propagandists are preparing their audience for the idea that diplomacy will not bring any results.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his evening address on April 14.
He reminded that 34 days ago, Ukraine responded positively to the American proposal for a full and unconditional ceasefire. However, for 34 days, open Russian aggression has continued.
“Already 34 days ago, Ukraine responded positively to the American proposal for a full and unconditional ceasefire. And for 34 days, there has been an open Russian refusal to cease fire,” Zelenskyy said.
The President also named the reason for such Moscow’s actions.
“There is only one reason for this: they in Moscow are not afraid. And if there is not strong enough pressure on Russia, they will continue to do what they are used to: they will continue to wage war,” the President of Ukraine stated.
