Russia withdrew from the "Grain Deal" in order to destroy Ukrainian ports and prevent our country from exporting grain by sea.

This opinion was expressed by Oleksandr Musienko, Head of the Center for Military Legal Research, “Channel 24” reports.

"Russia's goal is to remove Ukraine from the grain corridor. The Kremlin aims to destroy or damage Ukrainian port infrastructure so that Ukraine simply cannot export grain by sea," explained Musienko.

The expert warns that Russia will continue to create other artificial obstacles to navigation in the Black Sea, such as inspections of civilian vessels by Russian military forces. This significantly increases the risks for ships attempting to operate in such conditions and, consequently, raises the cost of their insurance. As a result, the Kremlin hopes to make the transportation of Ukrainian goods by sea as unprofitable as possible and significantly reduce their volumes.

In addition, Moscow hopes for separate agreements with Turkey to agree on the export of grain - but Russian grain.
