Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba called on Russia to "stop playing hungry games"

Russia announced its withdrawal from the "Grain Deal" in order to use it as an instrument of pressure on the whole world.

This opinion was expressed by the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, in an interview with CBS.

Kuleba noted that Russia was slowly killing the "Grain Deal" from one extension to another.

"You should know that last year, when the “Black Sea Grain Initiative” was implemented, global food prices dropped by 20%. The non-renewal of the agreement means that prices worldwide will rise again," the Minister warned.

He added that this price increase will be felt in Africa and Asia. Kuleba referred to this fact as the "result of Russia's actions."

Kuleba explained that Russia is "using hunger as a tool" to blackmail the world and pursue its own interests. The Head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Russia to "stop playing hungry games."
