Russian troops continue infiltrating toward Pokrovsk, attempting to secure positions along logistics corridors in the northern part of the urban area. Ukraine’s Defense Forces are successfully holding off these assaults.
This was reported by Serhii Okishev, an officer in the Communications Department of the 7th Air Assault Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to him, the occupying forces are not trying to establish a foothold in the city. Their goal is to move through Pokrovsk undetected and control logistics routes from the north.
In the area of Myrnohrad and its outskirts, Russian troops are conducting mechanized assaults supported by artillery and guided aerial bombs. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Azov formations and the 7th Air Assault Corps, these attacks are being halted before reaching the city.
The enemy is actively deploying FPV drones, Lancet loitering munitions, and «wait-and-strike» drones that patrol supply routes. Ukraine’s Defense Forces counter them with interceptor drones and special operations on the outskirts of Myrnohrad, reducing the impact of strike UAVs on the supply of Ukrainian troops.
