Zelenskyy confirms fighting ongoing in Pokrovsk

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that clashes are already taking place in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. He said this during his regular evening video address on 27 October.

«I spoke with the military — special attention is on Pokrovsk and the neighboring areas, ” he said.

Zelenskyy noted that the largest concentration of enemy strike forces and significant assault activity is focused there.

«Fighting is ongoing in the city itself: for them [the Russians], Pokrovsk is the main target, ” the President added.
