The West still cannot imagine a military defeat for Russia. Our partners maintain an equidistant position.
This was stated by Yevhen Magda, a candidate of political sciences, during an interview on «KYIV24.»
As the expert explained, in the Western mindset, the end of the war is envisioned solely through peace negotiations.
«Imagining that the largest war in the modern world will end through the military defeat of one of the sides is quite difficult. The West in general, I think, does not imagine a military defeat of Russia at all,» the political scientist explained.
Our partners, he adds, are very gradually parting with their fears.
«They want to be holier than the Pope and try to remain equally distant,» says Magda.
Meanwhile, Ukraine is paying the highest price for Europe’s security—with the lives and health of its citizens.
