Zelenskyi Explained Wy Biden’s Visit Was So Important for Ukraine

As the Ukrainian leader said in his interview for CNN, Joe Biden heard and supported the idea, but here were some security moments, which stood in the way of his visit.

" I truly think this would help the Ukrainians. Ukrainians support (the) United States, the trust of the Ukrainians to the United States is very high, same as to the UK and Poland and the Baltic states. So, visits of the world leaders who are not just partners but real friends - they give a signal, a sign, that the United States support Ukraine because they believe in Ukrainian victory and are not afraid of Russia. It (Biden’s visit) would be a great signal come despite the rockets flying in. They are not afraid of Putin because the world is much bigger than one leader of one country", the President added.

According to Zelenskyi, Ukraine would truly support any such signals. “If President Biden can come, we will only support it. Ukrainian people will greet this step. It can win much support and appreciation of the Ukrainian People”, Zelenskyi said.
