If Russian President Vladimir Putin dies, the war will be over soon. The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi believes.
On a Netflix special with David Letterman, the host asked the Ukrainian leader”: "Imagine if Putin caught a cold and died, or accidentally fell out a window and died, would the war continue?”
"No. There will be no war. An authoritarian regime is terrifying. There is always a great risk, since everything cannot depend on one person. That's why, when a person is gone, all the institutions stop at once. Something like that happened in Soviet Union. Everything stopped. I think if he's gone, it's going to be difficult for them. They will be involved in domestic politics, not foreign policy”, Zelenskyi responded.
