Zelenskyy outlines the consequences if partners do not support the Victory Plan

If the plan does not gain support from international partners, "it will be like a privilege granted to Russia by the world," the President noted.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that if Ukraine’s partners do not support the Victory Plan, "it will be very difficult" for the country.

The Head of State made this statement during a press conference in Brussels.

"First and foremost, the Victory Plan is a document that strengthens Ukraine and gives us the opportunity to be strong, and it's not just about the battlefield," the President said.

He clarifies that the plan involves strengthening Ukraine's forces and includes the invitation for Ukraine to join NATO.

"What will happen if our partners do not provide us with the necessary points or do not support the Plan? The Plan includes weapons, reinforcements, an invitation to NATO, and economic support. If we don't receive these things, it will be very difficult for us. And it will be a kind of privilege from the world for Russia. Ukraine’s weakness is Russia's strength. I believe this would be a huge mistake," Zelenskyy emphasized.

"For example, a deterrence package, a long-range weapons package - we could have all of this preemptively. This is not yet NATO membership, but an invitation. It’s a sign that we will be there and that Ukraine is not alone. And also - along with weapons and a missile package. Before using this package, there is always the opportunity to send a signal: let’s stop the war. If you don’t want to stop it, then we have the strength to stop you," the President explained.
