While claiming a desperate desire for peace, the Kremlin continues to dictate brazen demands.

Russia has boldly asserted that the war in Ukraine could be settled—but only if the Kremlin’s terms are met in full, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov vowed.
The top diplomat of the aggressor state argued that the war—which Russia stubbornly and insolently labels a "conflict"—"cannot be resolved without security guarantees for Russia." Lavrov voiced his frustration that the EU is allegedly "only discussing guarantees for Ukraine."
"The European Union, in its push for a seat at the negotiating table, has begun talking about the need to provide firm security guarantees for Ukraine as a key element of a peaceful solution. No one in the European Union has uttered a word about security guarantees for Russia, without which the conflict cannot be resolved," Lavrov brazenly stated.
