Evacuation of residents is underway in Dnipropetrovsk region due to the danger of Russian strikes. This concerns settlements located near the contact line — currently about 20 villages.

This was reported by military analyst and former Security Service of Ukraine officer Ivan Stupak in a comment to 24Kanal.

According to him, local authorities cannot guarantee the safe residence or movement of people in these areas. The Russian army is using FPV drones, artillery, and «attacks any target it deems necessary.» For this reason, Stupak stresses, civilians cannot remain there.

In addition, Russian guided aerial bombs are hitting areas like Novopavlivka, with a range of up to 80–90 km. Stupak states that Russian presence in Dnipropetrovsk’s airspace persists in various forms — including surveillance drones, reconnaissance drones, kamikaze drones, and strike UAVs.

«Even if there are no Russian troops physically present on the ground in Dnipropetrovsk region, they are in the airspace. We must take that into account. Unfortunately, the situation is difficult, ” Stupak explains.

He also noted that a Russian rocket projectile already hit the city of Dnipro this past weekend. There is concern that the contact line is very close, the military expert said.

«There is no reason to panic for now. But we must monitor the situation closely, ” the former SSU officer added.
