Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with “Shahed” strike drones. One of the drones hit a residential building in the city’s Kyivskyi district, said Oleh Synehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

The strike sparked a fire on the building’s second and third floors. State Emergency Service units are working on the site, and efforts to manage the aftermath of the attack are ongoing.

According to Synehubov, police are conducting door-to-door checks to locate anyone in need of assistance.

Preliminary reports indicate two women, aged 61 and 52, were injured. They sustained blast injuries and are receiving necessary medical care.

“The attack continues. Enemy drones are still detected in Kharkiv’s airspace. I urge all residents not to ignore air raid alarms and to stay in shelters,” the statement said.
