Energy emergency introduced in one region: Details

Due to constant shelling by Russia and the critical condition of energy infrastructure, the situation in Kharkiv region’s energy sector has officially been classified as a regional-level emergency.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Synehubov reported this.

He said the decision was adopted at a meeting of the regional commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations.

«Given the difficult situation, a decision was taken to recognize the circumstances in Kharkiv region’s energy sector as a regional-level emergency, ” Synehubov said.
