The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported Russian strikes on the region on August 14. A local resident was injured in one of the attacks.

According to the administration, in the Bytytsya district of the Sumy community, the enemy used guided aerial bombs, damaging residential buildings and a power line.

A 32-year-old man was injured during an enemy FPV drone attack in the Myropillia community. The administration clarified that he had evacuated from the village long ago but came that day to visit his home. On his way back, he came under fire.

The victim, with minor shrapnel wounds, was hospitalized and examined by doctors.

Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, urged residents not to risk their lives and to avoid traveling to border settlements.

“I urge residents of Sumy region to refrain from trips to border settlements that the enemy constantly shells and from which evacuation has long been underway. The enemy cynically continues to attack civilians, their homes and transport,” he emphasized.
