Morning Russian attack hits major regional center, killing one

On Saturday morning, May 30, the Russian army attacked  Zaporizhzhia. Powerful explosions hit the regional center, leaving at least one person dead, Ivan Fedorov, Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Ivan Fedorov reported.

"Russia is attacking the industrial infrastructure of the regional center," the official said.

According to him, two people were initially reported injured, but Fedorov later confirmed that one of the men died in the hospital.

"Unfortunately, one of the victims of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia has died. The Russian strike on the regional center mortally wounded the man," the head of the regional military administration said.

An air raid alert was declared in Zaporizhzhia at 07:27 a.m. following Air Force warnings of drones heading toward the city. Powerful explosions followed, with local authorities reporting that air defenses went into action.
