Aggressor Russia has issued another absurd claim following its own drone attack on Romania, even finding someone to blame.
The Russian Embassy in Bucharest made the new absurd statement.
The diplomatic mission brazenly leveled accusations against NATO and the EU, claiming they exploited the incident "to implement a foreign policy line aimed at confrontation with Russia."
Meanwhile, Vladimir Lipayev, Russian Ambassador to Romania, went even further with his fabrications. According to him, the drone crash in the city of Galați "was not accidental" and was even "planned in advance."
"There will undoubtedly be retaliatory measures on our part. One way or another, such irresponsible decisions must be paid for," he threatened.
In addition, Lipayev attacked Ukraine, falsely claiming a "staged provocation" and alleging Kyiv's desire to "drag NATO into a war with Russia."
Attack on Romania: Russian statements
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Vladimir Putin is aware that a Russian drone struck a high-rise building in Romania. At the same time, the dictator put forward his own version of events, claiming that the drone's origin cannot be confirmed until the official examination of the debris is complete.
Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the aggressor country's Foreign Ministry, threatened Romania with a response over the closure of the Russian Consulate General in Constanța in her typical manner. She defiantly dismissed the situation in Romania—which arose precisely because of Moscow's actions—as "hype."
Meanwhile, Kremlin puppet Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, threatened EU countries with new strikes, claiming these states are "direct participants in the war against Russia."
