Morning terror: Multiple regional capitals hit in Russian strikes

On the morning of May 22, Russian troops struck multiple regional capitals. Explosions were reported in Mykolaiv at dawn, followed by several blasts in Sumy, while Kherson also came under intense fire. TSN.ua reports on the details of the morning attacks.
Air raid alerts were activated across several Ukrainian regions throughout the morning due to the threat of UAVs and guided aerial bombs, alongside the risk of ballistic missile strikes.
Explosions in Mykolaiv
The Ukrainian Air Force repeatedly warned of drones heading toward the city during successive air raid alerts. The first explosions rattled Mykolaiv at dawn, around 4:00 a.m., with several subsequent blasts reported later.

Explosions in Sumy
Sumy came under a wave of Russian drone strikes early in the morning. Air raid alerts were issued in the regional capital multiple times, with the latest warning starting at 9:42 a.m.
The strikes caused power outages in the city, leaving one of Sumy’s water intake facilities without electricity.
In Kherson, Russia struck the Korabelnyi and Dniprovskyi districts, injuring several civilians. According to local authorities, the victims suffered blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, concussions, and bruises.
Also, a Russian drone targeted a man directly, inflicting fatal injuries.
