The aggressor country Russia has changed its tactics for airstrikes against Ukraine. However, the enemy has focused on applying greater pressure.

Military expert Oleh Zhdanov stated this in an interview with Focus.

"The goal is to force Ukraine into a quick surrender on Russia’s terms. Even Donald Trump has started saying that Russia does not want to negotiate without preconditions. This indicates political pressure rather than an attempt to destroy our air defense systems or other elements of defense," he explained.

Zhdanov believes that Russia selects its targets randomly, without following a clear system - everything depends on the situation and conditions. Moreover, the Russians continue their attempts to overload Ukraine's air defense.

"Russia has increased the flight altitude of Shaheds, according to various sources, from 3 to 5 km. Ukrainian air defense systems have altitude limitations: the ZU-23-2 can reach up to 3 km, while modern systems like the Gepard can reach up to 4 km. Because of this, even air defense systems like the Patriot do not have enough time to respond effectively to attacks from such altitudes," the military expert explained.

Commenting on strikes on Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Dnipro, Odesa, and Kropyvnytskyi, Zhdanov emphasizes that even even with the presence of certain technologies and electronic warfare systems, their effectiveness has significantly reduced , as Russia has installed several antennas to control Shaheds, making interception more difficult.

"If one antenna is jammed by electronic warfare, another one switches on, and the drone continues flying," he added.
