It is crucial to maintain the alliance between the United States and Europe in supporting Ukraine.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this during a briefing with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock on April 1.
«Today, this support exists. You know that it was suspended but has been restored. And intelligence sharing is also very important for us, especially in the context of protection against missile strikes. We are working on this,» the President said.
He emphasized that European leaders are working to prevent a rupture of the alliance with the U.S.
«The French president, as well as the leaders of the United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, and other countries, are in contact with the U.S. to ensure that this alliance is not broken — or that no one succeeds in breaking it. And these are important matters,» Zelenskyy noted.
