A Russian drone killed four people in Ukraine's Cherkasy region during the attack, said Ihor Taburets, Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration.

According to the official, the tragedy occurred in the Zolotonosha district during an air raid alert.

"We have four people killed in the Zolotonosha district. This happened in an open area during an air raid alert," Taburets said.

Authorities stress that details of the tragedy are still being clarified.

"All circumstances are currently being established by law enforcement. Investigative actions are ongoing," the regional head added.

Taburets urged residents not to ignore air raid warnings.

"The enemy attack is ongoing. I once again urge everyone to respond to danger alerts," he said.

The official also warned about risks from debris of downed targets.

"Do not approach downed targets — the warhead may detonate at any moment. Report debris immediately to 101 or 102," Taburets stressed.

Authorities once again called on Ukrainians to remain vigilant and follow safety rules during air raid alerts.
