On Friday, March 27, the Russian army again targeted an industrial facility in Poltava region, leaving thousands of residents without gas.

This was reported by Vitaliy Djakivnych, Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration,.

“The enemy attacked one of the industrial facilities in Poltava district again. Due to damage to technological equipment, 5,040 subscribers were left without gas supply,” he said.

According to the official, all services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack. Currently, there is no information about the injured or dead.

Naftogaz JSC stated that the Russian army hit their gas production infrastructure in the Poltava region. Significant damage occurred, and the operation of the enterprise, which ensures gas production, was halted.

“As a result of the attack, a fire broke out. I thank the State Emergency Service units for their quick and professional response. Since the beginning of this year alone, Russia has attacked Naftogaz Group infrastructure about 40 times,” said CEO Sergii Koretskyi.
