On the night of October 3, aggressor Russia carried out the largest-ever concentrated strike on Ukraine’s gas production infrastructure since the full-scale invasion began. The assailants fired dozens of missiles and drones.
This was reported by the press service of Naftogaz.
Russia attacked facilities in Kharkiv and Poltava regions. In total, 35 missiles, including ballistic ones, and 60 drones were launched. Only part of the air targets were shot down.
The company says that as a result of this attack, a significant number of gas infrastructure facilities are damaged. Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attacks are ongoing.
“Another manifestation of Russian meanness, aimed solely at disrupting the heating season and depriving us of the ability to warm Ukrainian homes this winter. As a result of this attack, a significant portion of our facilities has been damaged. Some of the destruction is critical,” said Serhiy Koretskyi, CEO of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
