Russian forces are continuing to transfer reserves from the Sumy direction to Donetsk region.

This was stated by Colonel Vladyslav Sayenko, Deputy Commander of the "Spartan" Brigade, during an interview on Espreso TV.

"The Russians are constantly moving additional reserves to Donetsk region. Units that were stationed in the Sumy direction are being redeployed to Donetsk region. They are doing this to increase the intensity of their offensive actions. Their attempts to advance are not stopping, and therefore they are trying to build up their forces and resources," Sayenko said.

According to him, despite the significant number of personnel, the enemy has managed to make gains only on a local scale.

"Regarding their plans, the objectives the Russians had for their summer offensive operation and the start of autumn have not been achieved. The Armed Forces of Ukraine worked very effectively to disrupt those plans. It should be noted that with the number of troops and equipment they have, they still achieve some successes in certain areas, though they are not substantial,” the colonel added.
