A state-level emergency has been declared in the Odesa region following the consequences of a massive Russian attack on energy infrastructure.

A state-level emergency has been declared in Odesa region due to a prolonged disruption of normal living conditions affecting more than 50,000 residents for over three days.
The announcement was made by Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper.
According to the statement, heads of military administrations, community leaders and the National Police have been instructed to explain to business owners the need to minimize the use of lighting in order to conserve electricity for residents and critical infrastructure facilities.
«In addition, a decision has been taken to allocate additional funds from the reserve fund to communities to replenish fuel supplies. This is necessary to ensure the uninterrupted operation of generators powering critical infrastructure facilities, including hospitals, educational institutions, points of invincibility and other vital institutions, ” Kiper said.
