Polish President Andrzej Duda believes that the Russia wants to freeze hostilities in Ukraine. That is the reason why the Kremlin is using tactics of intimidation with nuclear weapons and a "dirty bomb" narratives after suffering defeat on the battlefield, Duda said during his press conference, RBC reports.

The Polish President described the recent calls between Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and his Western colleagues as "Moscow’s to freeze the hostilities at any cost”. According to him, such threats from Moscow are an element of their tactics of intimidation aimed to force the western countries to reduce their support for Ukraine.

"According to Moscow's plan, these efforts should reduce military aid provided to Ukraine by the West, by the NATO countries, which is desperately needed by Russia that is generally losing this war. Ukraine is gradually regaining control over its territories within the borders recognized by international law," Duda stressed.

According to Polish leader, it is unreasonable to have any dialogue with Russia until it begins to comply with international law. i.e. withdraws its troops from the territory of Ukraine. Duda stressed that military aid for to Ukraine should continue despite Moscow's blackmailing.
