There are already discussions in Ukraine's government corridors about preparations for elections, and the parliamentary committee is working on changes to the Election Code.

This was reported by MP Anna Skorokhod from the "Servant of the People" party in an interview on the "Vechir.LIVE" program.

"I know that the committee is preparing some changes to the Election Code. We understand that changes will also be made to the voter register. Things are already happening," she said.

According to Skorokhod, the holding of elections is linked to the signing of a peace agreement, which will stop the war in Ukraine.

"As soon as a peace agreement is signed, which is expected soon, we will have presidential elections, followed by parliamentary and local elections," the MP stated.

At the same time, she emphasized that "we need a reset," but without a peace agreement, elections, according to her, will be impossible.

"If the question of holding elections arises before the signing of a peace agreement, the issue will be how to legally ensure participation in the elections for everyone — including the military," Anna Skorokhod noted.
