The attack lasted all night: Russia hit Ukraine with drones and missiles

On the night of August 11, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with "Shahed" kamikaze drones and missiles.

Shelling of Kyiv region

The Russian occupiers launched a missile attack on Kyiv region on the night of August 11. As a result, two people died - a man and a child.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

At night, fragments of a missile fell on residential buildings in Brovary district. A 35-year-old man and his 4-year-old son were found under the rubble of the building. Their bodies were found during search and rescue operations.

Three more people were seriously injured. A 13-year-old child is among them.

During the night, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported missiles moving towards Kyiv region as well as groups of drones. The air alert in the region lasted from 00:27 to 08:03.

The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office has started a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors, investigators and experts are documenting Russia's war crimes.
Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, reacted harshly to the enemy strike and declared that the military infrastructure of Russia must be destroyed.

Kyiv

On the night of August 11, the enemy launched ballistic missiles and attack drones at the Ukrainian capital. This was announced by Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko.

"Like the previous time, six days ago, aerial targets (such as "Iskander-M" or North Korean "KN-23") did not reach the capital, the suburbs took the brunt of the blow. At that time, it was already known about several dozen attack UAVs of "Shahed type were launched on Ukraine. About a dozen of them, after complex maneuvers, tried to attack Kyiv. But all the enemy's attack drones were shot down in the airspace of the capital of Ukraine," Popko said.

According to him, there was no destruction in Kyiv, there is no information about the victims yet.

Vinnytsia region

On the night of August 11, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down 7 Russian unmanned aerial vehicles in Vinnytsia region. Natalia Zabolotna,First Deputy Head of the Regional Military Administration, announced this on her Facebook page.

"Information about victims, damage and destruction of property has not been received at this time," Zabolotna said.

The alarm in the region lasted from 00:29 to 06:32. During the air alert in the region, the sounds of explosions were heard. The Air Force reported several groups of drones heading in the direction of Vinnytsia region.

Rivne region

Air Defense Forces worked in the Rivne region during the air alert at night, August 11.

Oleksandr Koval, Head of the Regional Military Administration, announced this morning.

"As a result, the enemy's aerial objects were shot down. No damage or destruction of the infrastructure was recorded," he wrote.
As a result of the night missile attack of the Russian army, there were no casualties or injuries.

Also at night, explosions were heard in Khmelnytskyi and Poltava regions. At 04:22 the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned that in most regions of the country, an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles continues.
