Ukraine's defense industry has significantly increased its weapon production, which now accounts for 33-34% of the total weapons used on the front line.
This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a press conference with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Warsaw.
"About 33-34% of all weapons in Ukraine today are domestically produced. Out of 100% of what you need in a year. This is serious growth. It was less than 10%, now it's 33-34%," he explained.
In addition, the President says that around 30% of Ukraine's weapons come from European countries, and over 30% from the United States.
Zelenskyy stressed the importance of maintaining a strong alliance between Ukraine, Europe, and the U.S. to ensure Ukraine's security.
He also expressed gratitude to his international partners for their continued support and emphasized that Ukraine is working to develop its defense industry to reduce dependence on external suppliers.
