Russia is actively attacking Odesa region with “Onyx” anti-ship missiles because of the limited radius.

This was announced by Spokesman of the Air Force Command Yuriy Ignat.

He mentioned that the occupiers recently used "Onyx" missiles during the night on September 22.

Ignat explained that the lower the launch point of an anti-ship weapon is, the shorter the range it can cover. Its radius can be reduced by half compared to the maximum distance.

"They hit where the “Onyx” can reach”. Let me remind you, this is an anti-ship missile that can hit the coastline as well," the representative of the Air Force said.

According to him, the occupiers choose the type of missile that, in their opinion, best suits a particular direction.
