Russia, as before, most frequently carries out attacks on Ukraine during the night, closer to dawn," military expert Oleh Zhdanov explained in a comment to the TSN.ua.
He explained that it's during this time that the vigilance of air defense operators can be lower because they are already tired from the night.
"Any doctor will tell you that this is the time when a person wants to sleep. And when you're on duty, dawn is the toughest time. After being tired throughout the night, your eyes start to close. And therefore the vigilance of operators may be reduced. This is a classic, the beginning of all operations falls on four or five in the morning, well, six o'clock is the latest. That is why missiles arrive at such a time," he explained.
