The Russian occupiers killed four people during a rocket attack on the city of Toretsk on September 20. The police have started a pre-trial investigation.

This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General.

As it became known, the occupiers struck the city with a 240-millimeter active-reactive mine 3F2 of the 2C4 "Tulip" system. As a result, the city itself and the settlement of Pivnichne were affected.

In Toretsk, a 19-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man died of injuries.

They were in a private residential building during the shelling. Two more people - an 84-year-old mother and her 60-year-old son - received injuries incompatible with life on one of the streets in Pivnichne.

"The enemy's attack destroyed private houses and damaged household buildings. Prosecutors are taking all possible and necessary measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the Russian armed forces," the Prosecutor General's Office reported.
