Russia began to actively use "Shahed" strike drones in Ukraine, and such attacks will increase in the future.

Air Force Spokesman Yuriy Ignat said this on the air of the national telethon.

As he explained, the occupiers have increased the number of UAV attacks because they have the opportunity to receive them and manufacture them at their enterprises.

The main targets for enemy drone strikes are critical infrastructure facilities. In particular, on the night of September 20, the Kremenchug oil refinery in Poltava region was attacked.

"The enemy continues to carry out strikes, in particular on critical infrastructure. Unfortunately, only 17 drones were shot down. But this is also a nice result. But this is also a good result, taking into account the number that flew. Today, all the Defense Forces are working to increase their capabilities specifically against the enemy's attack UAVs," Yuriy Ignat commented.
