Europe needs to understand that it cannot stand firm without Ukraine.

The U.S. could stop military assistance to Ukraine, which would create serious problems for Ukrainian defense, particularly in the areas of air defense and strategic intelligence.

Military expert Mykhailo Samus stated this during a telethon broadcast.

"If the U.S. stops providing help, which is most likely to happen, it means not only the absence of Patriot and HIMARS but also strategic intelligence, the internet, and more. However, if Trump allows us to buy weapons, it will enable us to hold out effectively," the expert explains.

He also points out that Russia is attempting to blackmail Ukraine amid the visit of Keith Kellogg, Donald Trump's special representative for Ukraine and Russia.

"Moscow has carried out a series of loud attacks on Ukrainian cities to demonstrate its capabilities and take advantage of the political situation in the U.S.," Samus emphasized.

According to him, if Washington does not fulfill its promises regarding the supply of "Patriot" systems, Russia will have more opportunities to strike Ukrainian cities.

"It will not significantly affect the front, but for the civilian population, the consequences will be catastrophic – many cities are still unprotected from missile and drone strikes," the expert stresses.

He also emphasizes that Ukraine needs to cooperate more closely with Europe, as the West will not be able to effectively deter Russia without our country.

"There are more than 100 brigades in Ukraine, while all of Europe has only 95. We are not just talking about this – Ukraine is a key defender of European interests," Samus concluded.
