Russia is actively spreading PSYOP: SSU warns Ukrainians of enemy provocations
The SSU urges Ukrainians not to fall for provocations.
The SSU reported new attempts by Russian special services to destabilize the socio-political situation in Ukraine
The number of information-psychological special operations (PSYOP) from Russian intelligence agencies has sharply increased. The occupiers are attempting to divide society and artificially spread protest sentiments.
This was reported by the SSU.
Russia is actively using bot farms, fake accounts, and controlled groups on social media platforms, including TikTok and Telegram.
"In destructive content, the enemy is spreading fake information about alleged protest sentiments among Ukrainians and street riots in various regions of our country. At the same time, Russian propagandists are calling on citizens to engage in mass actions to disrupt public order and constitutional order, offering money for participation in rallies," the statement reads.
The SSU notes that it is already taking the necessary measures to neutralize these threats and urges Ukrainians not to fall for provocations.
The agency also points out that actions aimed at forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power could result in up to 10 years of imprisonment.
"The experience of the heroic resistance of Ukrainians to Russian aggression has repeatedly proven that it is in unity that our people can most effectively resist the enemy. No Russian PSYOP can undermine our national spirit!" the SSU stated.
