The local authorities confirmed that one fatal victim was only 12 years old. At least 38 people suffered injuries. Some victims may still stay under the debris, as Serhii Bratchuk, the speaker of Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported on Friday, July 1st.

"The search and rescue mission continues. Right now it’s hard to say how many people are still staying under the debris. It’s essential to remember that it’s a civilian site although we using the military language here. This is a residential house, a recreational resort. We don’t know how many people were sleeping in their apartments of visiting their friends during the attack. Unfortunately, the death toll has just increased with one more person. So know we have a tragic score of 21 victims, including a 12-year-old boy. The number of those injured hasn’t yet increased, and I hope it won’t. Although, we may still discover more bodies under the debris”, he reported.

Bratchuk also urged the region residents to stay alert and properly respond to the air raid alarm signals.
