China made another statement on "resolving" the war in Ukraine

Despite its statements, Beijing refers to the war as a "crisis."

China advocates for an immediate ceasefire and the achievement of a "political settlement" in the war between Ukraine and Russia.

This was stated by Mao Ning, a representative of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to "Suspilne."

At the same time, Beijing calls the war a "crisis" and emphasizes that it should be resolved through dialogue, claiming that China stands on the side of peace.

"Regarding the crisis in Ukraine, China advocates for an immediate ceasefire and the achievement of a political settlement. China will continue to stand on the side of peace and dialogue, support international cooperation to achieve a broader consensus, and provide a viable pathway for a political settlement, in the interests of all parties," the representative said.

Mao Ning also mentioned that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is on a visit to China and will hold talks with his counterpart Wang Yi. According to her, the diplomats will discuss the implementation of the "important consensus" between the presidents of both countries and the deepening of bilateral cooperation on issues of "mutual interest."
