The Russian invaders aimed to cause a complete blackout in Ukraine with their massive missile attack on March 22.
This was said by Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko during the telethon.
He stated that the March 22 attack was the most massive "in the entire history of attacks on the energy sector".
"The enemy simultaneously used over 150 various means of attack. This is a significant test for the energy system. The goal of this attack was to achieve a massive blackout in the country," the Head of the Ministry of Energy said.
Kharkiv, Odesa and Khmelnytskyi regions were the most affected, but the aftermath of the attack was felt by residents in a total of 12 regions.
The situation is currently difficult at the Dnipro Hydroelectric Station, where the elimination of the aftermath of the missile strikes is ongoing.
