Ukraine will not incorporate any provision from China’s or Brazil’s peace plans proposing a ceasefire along the current line of demarcation into its own peace formula.

Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, stated this in an interview with Natalia Moseichuk on TSN as part of the telethon.

"I’ve said that we have our own logic and a principled vision. It is very important for us that the plan for ending the war with a just peace is indeed supported by the major players today. When that happens, it will undoubtedly increase pressure on Russia, as it will be left with only Iran and North Korea as allies," Yermak said.

In response to a question about the likelihood of China’s representatives attending the next peace summit, Yermak expressed that he considers this possibility entirely realistic.

"I want to say that together with Foreign Minister Sybiha, we had, in my opinion, a very good conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in New York. First, it was very substantive, and second, it was fairly informal, allowing us to discuss many issues openly and honestly. I believe our Chinese colleagues heard us, and I think there’s potential here," he concluded.
