If the West does not change its attitude towards the aggressor country of the Russian Federation, some European countries may join the China-Russia-Iran axis of evil.

This opinion was expressed by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov at the Halifax International Security Forum.

According to him, geopolitical competition between the USA and China is currently growing in the world, and words about "a new world order and a multipolar world" are being heard more often.

"Russia is a threat to Ukraine, China is the main threat to the USA, and the China-Russia-Iran alliance is a challenge for the whole world. If there are no changes in the attitude of the West towards Russia, changes in Russia itself, then in 15-20 years the world will expect a new "axis of evil", which will include not only the DPRK, China, Iran and the Russian Federation, but also some European countries," Danilov emphasized.

He noted that the war in the Middle East and the internal political situation in the USA affect support for Ukraine.

"Attention to Ukraine may fall due to the predicted conflicts in the Middle East, the Balkans, the Caucasus, Central Asia, around the Arctic and over the possession of resources. There will be war fatigue felt in the West. However, there's a need to collectively work on consolidating allies and partners for further support to Ukraine,” the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council stated.
