The city in Donetsk region is facing a difficult situation. However, Russian forces have not established control over the settlement.

This was reported by the Operational Command "East."

"While the Sloviansk direction remains tense in the Siversk area, claims that the enemy has taken control of the city do not reflect reality," the military says.

Russian troops are trying to slip into the city in small assault squads, exploiting the weather. Ukrainian defenders are striking back, neutralizing the invaders in Siversk and around its approaches.

"Their attempts to plant flags across the city for propaganda purposes also end in losses for the occupiers," the Operational Command "East" said.

DeepState on the situation in Siversk

According to DeepState analysts, Russian troops are trying to make gains in the Siversk area.

"The enemy keeps pushing its infantry into the city, and the situation is deteriorating, with Siversk slowly falling under their control," the report said.

Recent data shows heavy Russian infantry activity in the area, though Ukrainian Defense Force pilots are striking back at enemy positions.

"Preliminary information suggests that half of the town is under enemy control, with the Bakhmutka River marking the line of resistance against Russian forces," the post states.

The report also notes that Russian troops have been spotted even beyond Siversk, operating alone.
